Magento Server Infrastructure
Magento infrastructure starts from 2 dedicated servers. Once the volume of a site has outgrown the processing power of a single server, a separate database has to be added to it as well as one or two front-end servers.
Our optimization techniques specific to Magento, along with an optimized site with classical behaviour, enable you to hit 50k UV/D on each front-end server. A database is required every 4 to 5 front-end servers.
There is no upper limit to the number of unique visitors per day or number of servers that can be implemented. For 100k UV/D and over, we recommend the use of our technology Extend To Cloud to absorb peak-loads and reduce costs.
